The Book

A few years ago I decided to document the story of my life and my struggles with homosexuality. The result of that work is a book I have written that outlines my struggles but more importantly, gives hope to those who are struggling with or "cursed" with homosexuality. I use the word "curse" because at least in my life, that is what it has been. A curse is something that is not good, and something that one cannot rid oneself of easily. A perfect example of my homosexual orientation. However, God can use even this curse to His glory, for were I not cursed with this, you most definitely would not be reading these words, at least written by me.

I hope, God willing, to get the book published some day so that it might change other lives as much as reading and writing it has changed mine. I'm not sure when this will be, but publishing a book is not a trivial task, and it will not be something that is done quickly, I'm sure. I'm praying that it would happen according to God's timetable, that He will not be waiting for me, and that it will honor and glorify Him in style as well as substance. Time will tell.  Further updates, if any, will appear here.

UPDATE - end of 2005 - start of 2006

Well, here it is, 2006, and I don't really look forward to the day when I can say that the book is completed.  That is because I have no idea what to do to get this into the hands of those who need it.  Publishing is not anything I know anything about, but I guess that if God wants it in the hands of the masses, He will, in the words of Jean Luc Picard of Star Trek fame, "make it so."
